"Sling was slick and durable. However, my was lacking in two areas: (1) The Strap system was bulky, in that as one would fold the arms to set down, the arms would not, hence footprint was always bulky. (2) Sling bag was built with quality. However, inside there was a few extra unnecessary compartments/dividers that made the unit bulky. Even with just a few items added, unit became bulky which caused an uneven contact on the body."
"I'm a huge sling fan and managed to get the Travelpro Sling 2L. This must've been my 5th sling (I own Bellroy, Lulu Lemon, Grams28, and Asian brands) and I wanted to try it out since it was on sale. The overall sling has a quality build with thoughtful pockets and compartments. I'm already a huge Altitude fan and own the briefcase, backpack, and duffel which I love. My main issue is that it needs to choose an identity between being a sling or fanny pack. I usually wear slings on my chest but due to the design, the Travelpro sling will never sit comfortably on my chest. It is top heavy and doesn't lay flat. The design flaw is where the straps attach. They attach to the middle of the sling, which means that even if I lengthen the strap it will always sit too vertically with diffulty digging into the pockets. The straps should connect to the upper corners (not the middle!) to sit more horizontally. The reason it seems to be connected in the middle is due to having the option to be a fanny pack. But this doesn't work either, since the straps are hard to tighten on the fly (like backpack straps) if used that way. I planned to return it, but may just keep it for now. But I would recommend updating the next version as a dedicated sling with updated upper corner attachments. Either that, or make a detachable strap that can attach to either the upper corners or middle anchoring points."

"I LOVE sling/crossbody bags! I have 10 different ones that i switch between so this Travelpro sling is right up my alley. Can also be worn as a belt bag/fanny pack if you choose because of the clip you can unhook. It has multiple zippered compartments throughout and also has a little pocket for a tracker device which is a nice addition. It’s a nice low profile bag…nothing too big or gaudy. Should really be able to fit anything you would need for your day…large phone, keys, wallet, pocket mirror, travel hairspray, travel perfume, lip gloss, pen, business cards, passport if traveling, etc etc. The materiel is sturdy, strong and should hold up great for day to day use and for traveling in all types of weather. All black with matte black hardware (which i REALLY appreciate) so this would match or blend in nicely with any color outfit. The strap is adjustable. This bag is NOT made of cheap materials and it doesn’t look cheap either…which is important. I’ve got 6 varying Travelpro luggage pieces and this sling bag falls right in line with them as far as quality, sturdiness and looks."
"I’m not much for the old style “Fanny packs” and I do like to travel both safely, but also looking sharp. I was surprised at how nice this looks on. I like it particularly around my waist- fits great, looks great. I tend to be the one in the family who carries everything when traveling. This bag can easily carry two phones along with a bunch of other small items. And I don’t have to fish through to the bottom to find everything. Very organized! It’s going to be perfect on our next trip to Europe and even in the cities around the United States that we visit. Lightweight and comfortable. I’m a happy traveler!"
